Although I think the first book was better than this one, I still really enjoyed it. I can never pass up a good "whodunit". This series is one of those that you can just sit back and enjoy the ride without feeling too emotionally or mentally drained by the end it. A nice palate cleanser, and just an overall good time. I'll be keeping my eye our for the third book ;)

I enjoyed this second installment of Marion Lane and her fascinating underground world! Marion was a little more obtuse in this one, and maybe too accommodating. But it was an interesting story, and I'm glad to see a tiny bit of progress in the romance department. I'm still looking forward to reading the next one. Not sure how many there will be in the series! But for now, I'm glad to continue forward with it.
