I absolutely do not appreciate this ending because now I have to wait to see what happens. This book was quite different from the first, but the same in a lot of ways. I loved learning about Brees heritage and the lines and how they're all connected. It was interesting to read about a perspective that is different than mine. I felt like I learned a lot about the world from this book and the first. Somethings really surprised me, which I appreciate since it's hard to surprise me these days. The story has me on the edge of my seat, constantly wondering what will come next. I'm loving the journey with these strong characters who experience more grief and pain than anyone else should. I can't wait for the next book.
