Yikes. Honestly feels like Legendborn was a completely different story. Love triangle is meh. A lot of things didn't make sense. Overall I'm unhappy.

 I continue to enjoy this series, even though I don’t feel too connected to majority of the characters. The second book becomes too much of a middle ground and falls into the trap of being more of a setup for the next book rather than keeping any interesting plot going, which can be exhausting to read. The story is fast and exciting, with fun clichés and characters, but some of the teen dramas and romance aren’t always doing too much for me. But the story does have a lot to tell and therefore comes off well. But as the story expands further and the plot becomes broader it’s harder to ignore how cliché and certain characters are annoying to me.
