Unfortunately this might be my least favorite Perrin so far... which is a bummer. I did enjoy it, though it was a bit long. The characters were interesting, and I liked to see how they moved together and apart through life. I did think the reveal around the narrator was a bit, not great. It felt that Perrin used them as a shock value plot twist. But overall I thought this was incredibly well written and well translated. I liked the growth of the characters and that the idea of the car in the lake being shoved to the background but always haunting them was interesting - keeping the focus on The Three. It worked for me, I wish I had read this first and followed up with Sundays and then Flowers so that I didn't compare them so much.
