Odd and liminal. A fun, strange tale wandering through the supermarket and getting to peep behind the 'staff only' doors. The protagonist is funny and strange and the ending is a relief through her self-affirmation and choice. Sparsely written and almost boring at times, but I think it reflects the character's world.

I thought the main character was going to have an epiphany after quitting the store and realizing that she can do so much more. But it also made me realize that some people don’t want to climb a social and capitalist ladder and would rather just replay the same thing over and over again. For me I related to both sides of the spectrum.
