it is cookbooks like this that will bring in the age of vegan cooking. What fun and creativity! Gaz Oakley really offers something for everyone, all in the realm of comfort foods, but with the added dash of inspiration and uniqueness. Yumm. Thanks.

Having followed the Avant-Garde vegan Instagram since going vegan, I was super excited to read this. Not disappointed! The photos that went with some of the recipes made me ready to get my apron on.

The temperature and cooking measurement notes through me (being from the US, we're not taught the Metric system, and the author's from Wales), but I was happy to see both units there. Thanks, Gaz!

Looks like delicious recipes but it is from Britain and not all ingredients are standard for the US. Definitely not whole food plant based, there is a tremendous amount of oil used in this book. Both in the main ingredients and frying. There were a few that look like ones I'd enjoy translating into wfpb dishes.

Save your money. I'm a long time vegan and this book is offering pretentious recipes with fancy ingredients, without being truly original
