3.5 Felt too short an uneventful

TWD is a series that generally can go on forever...but it should move with purpose.

I feel that this book should have been glomped together with the previous one

A fun book with some good characters. The ending left some a,pleasure room for improvement.

2.5 stars. Interesting storyline & great action at the end, but too many last minute just in the nick of time saves. While I rooted for the characters and was sad when they died, I just couldn't connect with any of them. That having been said, I will be reading the next book when it comes out.

Couldn't put it down

Probably fewer deaths than the other books in the series but it still had me on the edge of my seat. A definite page turner and I just hope the series continues.

We take yet another roller-coaster ride when the Reverend, as determined as ever, strives to complete what our Woodbury heroes prevented last time, and so both he and Lilly set out to destroy each other, at whatever costs. We meet some more characters along the way, who are charismatic enough for us to enjoy their presence.

What can I say? If you enjoyed the previous entries in these series, you'll like this one too. I don't have as much to say as in the case of Descent, which may be just why this one is rated a bit lower. Still, it is definitely a page-turner and evokes enough emotions from me to be happy with how it turned out. Still pleasant writing with nice vocabulary, plot twists surprising and captivating enough to keep you focused, characters interesting to follow and overall madness of it all raising eyebrows and fun. More pulpy than others though, for sure.
