While this book was interesting and I was looking forward to reading it, I found it difficult to return to the book but might try again in the future.

I just don't think I'm in the mood for memoir at the moment. Will try again with this one in the spring.

I feel like I had blocked from my mind just how long pictures of topless models stayed on Page 3 in Britain. Killjoy follows Jo Cheetham, one of the key campaigners in the No More Page 3 movement, and it's equal parts incredibly uplifting and unbelievably frustrating. The sexism it details is something every single woman has experienced, but Jo finding family in the group of people who worked on the campaign with her is so beautiful.
