My friend has talked non stop about this book since it was released. With all the hype surrounding it, I was very wary. So now here it is 2 years later and I've finally gotten to it. The hype was right!!! I loved this book. I laughed at Rowans shenanigans and how much he got underneath Sloane's skin. They may be crazy but genuinely they are doing the world a service. I absolutely enjoyed reading this. It was funny, had some cutesy moments, and some very hot moments. There were some not so hot moments that made me want to vomit. "Orzo Pasta. Beef Niçoise. Ice cream." Gross 🤢🤢🤢 im never going to look at those the same again. Even with those moments, this book was hilarious and sweet. Now, I think I'm ready for Lachlan's book! I found him so intriguing and I want to know more about Lark.

The plot was somehow predictable but overall good. Easy to read and follow. The main characters' banter and sarcasm are what sucked me in. Their relationship progression was written very well as well as the spicy scenes. I read it while listening to the audiobook and would definitely advise to listen to it because it is soo good (duet narration).

i enjoyed this! will always have a good time with dark romantic comedy! was a little confused about the timeline but that might’ve been my fault idk
