Nice and easy read. The connections to Jamie Fraser are a bit forced, though. I think the Lord John character and the books are strong to stand on their own, as sort of historic detective/murder stories, they don't need the highlander saga connection anymore.

I really liked the succubus story. The other two were just ok.
A collection of Lord John novellas. Good choice for reading in shorter chunks of time (as opposed to her regular 800+ page novels). I did this one as one of Sam's Oneminutecritic video reviews.

Audible free, I much more enjoyed her short stories / novellas then the really long long ones. This is the second collection of stories and it was nice to know they were going to end soon. I can't believe she's written many 800 page novels that's completely insane
