Absolutely enthralling! I had never read anything by him before and absolutely loved it. I listened to the audiobook and loved it. The plot moves at a good pace. And tbh I think it would be an excellent tv series, in the right hands.

What a perfectly written thriller. Every detail of racism, privilege, white supremacy, police presence and sadistic behavior is so accurately described to pack a punch with the story line that I didn’t know what to expect next and wanted to read faster so I could find out who did it.
