“The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“The Most Dangerous Game” is a short story about Big Game Hunting. After accidentally falling off a yacht, Rainsford swims to the nearest island, only to find out that he has swam to a trap and will be hunted down by the man who inhabits the island for sport. This story is about survival and fight or flight in unusual circumstances as the big game Hunter (Rainsford) now becomes the hunted.
All in all, it’s a short story about survival that makes the reader think twice about big game hunting as humans are also considered “big game.” It should also keep you weary to strangers but maybe that’s just me.

Very interesting short story. I enjoyed the way the characters spoke, and the swiftness with which the story progressed. Very suspenseful but not tiring. Not graphic like i expected. Satisfying ending!

richard connell is truly a remarkable author. he managed to write a book that i hated even more than romeo and juliet, without even trying.
