Loved it! Romance was a bit clunky, but overall great storytelling, and lots of gasps!

the payoffs begin all pointing toward the end
When I got to the Sanderson books I was worried he wouldn’t match the tone or feeling. It was a feeling that was eased with book 12. Sanderson is a wonderful writer and has managed to capture a majority of the tones without fault. Now, in book 13, he really flexes that muscle as he creates a phenomenal story that not only meets Jordan’s tone, but also is quite enjoyable for a fan. This book is when all the payoffs begin. The moments you wanted over the last dozen books are finally happening and they are executed with grace and aplomb. Great book. I can’t wait to start the finale…

Now that I've read so much Sanderson I can actually notice his influence on the books and its strange for sure!! Not necessarily a bad thing just something interesting that I never really noticed in past read throughs.
Another great book in the three-part Sanderson finale. It does feel a little bit like the "in between" book, as Sanderson is quickly trying to move all the remaining puzzle pieces into place in time for Tarmon Gai'don, but still manages to feel complete by itself and resolves a few threads such as the gholam. The long-awaited Tower of Ghenjei/return of Moiraine is a big highlight. Not to mention he manages to introduce a great NEW character (Androl) in the 13th and penultimate book in the series. Quite a feat!
It's the second-to-last book in the Wheel of Time series. There's not much more to say. It was destined to be awesome. Plus, Sanderson even brought me back around to liking Perrin. A miracle!
Brandon Sanderson covering all the plot points necessary to bring us to the end.
I love the character growth that has brought us to these last few books.
