The ending of this book!!!! What even!!!
Soooo I really enjoyed this one. I feel like I'm becoming firmly rooted in their world and getting attached to the characters.
Even the new character, Cole, grew on me quickly.
This book left me absolutely dying to know what happens next!!

Spoiler
Though to be honest I love celebrities-hiding tropes so Stiefvater had me hooked immediately on that one XDThis book left me absolutely dying to know what happens next!!
Dull. There are good parts to this book, but overall the plot feels somewhat stagnant. The style is nice; the descriptions are flowing and beautiful, but it's difficult to tell by structure alone which character is narrating. All their "voices" sound pretty much the same. Overall, it's a good read when you're bored and have nothing else, but probably not something to re-read.
I stalled out halfway through this book because I was frustrated by the predictability of Grace becoming a wolf right after Sam became human.
I knew I would come back, and I did.
And I'm still feeling really on edge and my heart has been wrenched by continuing this book. Even if it's a little predictable, it's still a tragedy. I want the happy ending to their love story because my heart is already dealing with Real Life Emotions.
The science seems a bit...crackpot, but I might be overly judgmental and I admittedly appreciate that at least there is an explanation of why this is happening.
And Sam isn't cured either.
Actually, the problem isn't Cole's theory, maybe. Possibly it's because we didn't suspect any of this, and then he just. Sorts it out in the cafeteria, in the final hour, as Grace is dying in the hospital, I guess.

I actually like this book better than the first one. The plot was better (to me) and I liked the four different voices of the story. I am excited to see what happens in the next book based on the "discoveries" by Cole.

Not as good as the first, but the ending was pretty good so I'll be reading the last book.
I enjoyed reading Shiver and while I didn't highly anticipate Linger, I was looking forward to see how the storyline continues. This book seemed to just drag on and I couldn't get into it. I read Shiver in record time and took me a week and half to read Linger since I couldn't get into the storyline or new characters.
