I really liked this one - liked it enough that I had trouble putting it down, which was kind of a surprise considering that I didn't care all that much for Shiver, which I thought was a little dull. Linger moves right along and the writing is so good - lyrical, as some of the other reviewers have mentioned. I grew to really care about the characters thru the way they described one another. Very recommended!

Even better than the first! The story of Sam and Grace continues as Sam adjusts to human life and the loss of his wolf family. Grace develops a mystery illness. A new character, Cole, is introduced as a foil to Isabel who is dealing with guilt over her brother's death. Although it's easy to guess the cause of Grace's mystery illness, it's Sam's character that really develops in this story. The ending will leave you waiting for the third book.
The roles are reversed in this one... Sam is now learning how to enjoy being in his human skin and trying out human life and Grace is avoiding the fact that the wolf inside her wants to destroy her's. While at times gripping and haunting, it also is a story of love, family and friendship. You don't have to be blood related to be a family. Can't wait to read how this series will pan out!

Ugggh. I'm done. I really wanted to finish this series. I've tried many times. 1st book I loved, but I am growing weary of a young girl in the obsession of her boyfriend. Hoping that writing my thoughts down will prevent me from being drawn back in to finishing it next time. (less)
I didn’t hate this book????? I still dislike Sam and Grace and their storyline and I think they’re ridiculously boring. But Cole and Isabel really managed to save the book. Because they were actually interesting. And they didn’t get on my nerves constantly.
