The New Queer Conscience was not what I was expecting. More of a rant or lecture than a helpful resource or pep talk, the quick read was a let down while still providing some interesting information on what it's like to be queer in today's society and how we can change the experience. I see where the author was trying to go with this, but when you expect something different it's often hard to switch horses in the middle of the river.

A cute book but very very general. Would recommend only to someone just starting to read queer writers or just starting out in allyship.
There are no new ideas in here.

This was short but a very important read! Great as a little gift for an activist or queer friend, or as a small coffee table book that’s easy to pick up and flip through. Loving this series.

NONE of the As in the lgbtq+ acronym stand for ally. stop spreading misinformation, especially if you’re queer yourself. you should know better. allies are NOT queer, that’s literally the entire point. and on top of that, P for pansexual was left out of the acronym example. awesome, so we’re including allies but not pansexual people? great job!!
