This book had me laughing from page one. Nate was absolutely "amazing." I think I may have liked Nate more than Kennedy. Nate is this brilliant aerospace engineer, but when it comes to people, he has absolutely no social skills. He doesn't says what's on his mind without sugarcoating it, which can be off-putting in the dating arena.

Kennedy had some major issues that I wasn't aware of from the previous book, so she hid it well. Whereas her friends, Gen and Arilyn, it is evident that they are going through something. Kennedy seemed so put together, I guess that's why I was surprised by her issues.

This was by far the funnier of the two books in the series. All the scenes of Nate's transformation from geek to chic, were a riot. I loved every minute of this book, of course except for Kennedy sabotaging her own happiness. This is a great series that pulls you in and you become attached to every single character. Even the supporting characters: Wolfe, Connor, Gen; I want to know more about them. Like Gen, she starts this series engaged, but something is amiss with that relationship. I'm excited to see how it plays out.

Definitely a series you should pick up if you are looking for a good laugh with your romance.

It started out strong but the sex scenes were a little too cheesy and typical. I didn't know it was the 2nd book of a series but I'm not really interested in reading any of the others.

Received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Can Nate Ellison Raymond Dunkle come over to my house and play? Smart and sexy? Yes please. Pretty sure Jennifer Probst is going on my list of authors that can do no wrong/must read/one click. Every book of hers that I have had the pleasure of reading has been fun and good and never frustrating. These are all important things to me when it comes to a romance story. Plus girl can write a sex scene like nobody's business. Bring on more Verily, NY books!

I didn't read the first one but didn't need to. I usually don't read out of order but this did a pretty good job on it's own. I wasn't lost or confused as to what was going on. I thought it was a cute story.
The nerd who goes in to get set up to find his dream woman.
It was a sweet story in the end and I knew it was coming but enjoyed the journey.

3'5 estrellitas

4.5 adorkable stars!!

I am a big fan of Jennifer Probst, and love love love her Marriage series.

And I love love LOVE this spin off series. We get the old characters from the marriage series, along with the new.

And the new is sexy rocket science guy, Nate. He's completely adorkable.

Searching for Perfect has that sweet, sexy rom-com feel about it. It's not that we don't know where things are going to end up, but it is the ride we are taken on to get there.

I love that Kennedy and Nate aren't perfect (it just doesn't do it for me when everything is perfect for everyone!!) They have real life problems that hold them back, and I love that they have to work through their problems to get to their HEA.... or do they?

I love the other girls at Kinnection, and as cave man as he is at times, I loved Nate's brother. Aaaaand I loved that Wolfe makes another appearance!

I laughed, I cried, my heart broke, my heart healed. Ms Probst didn't make it easy for her characters at all!!

I mean, who doesn't love a story about two people finding love when they are least expecting it, and when it is right under their noses, even better!

Now, bring on the next one, I need more!!

If you enjoyed the first book in this series Searching For Someday, you'll LOVE this book. Don't worry, this book can also be a stand alone if you haven't read the first book.

The humor between Kennedy and Nate was kicked up a notch and I found myself chuckling out loud, which earned a few looks. The author did a fabulous job creating many layer for the characters, which made you fall even more in love with them. I truly loved this Cinderella story with a twist.

A little too graphic for my taste. Skipped past those parts. Cute story but rather simple.

This is the second book about the matchmakers from Kinnections and I am loving this series. Kennedy sees Nate and knows she can transform him from the nerdy disaster into a man who can find the wife he is looking for. He is her Eliza Doolittle. It's sweet and I have a soft spot for nerds. They just click, but Kennedy is not the long-term type. She is afraid of hurting him. This was a fun read and I look forward to the next book.
