I did not know what I was walking into with this book, but it was thought and emotion provoking. Def a bit disturbing. The afterwords lended greater understanding to the short story; while the overall message was clear after reading, I felt better after listening to the authors motivation/thought process.

Readable in one sitting. Was very confused the entire time but in a good way.

Would've preferred this to be a little bit longer but it was good nonetheless

No idea why I read this because I've never read anything else by Madeline Miller so it didn't really make much sense to me lol.
