I liked the mmc’s pov, because his thoughts and view on the word is different. But the fmc’s pov was boring, and mostly about her past, and people we did not have a connection to.
Wow.
Loved it.
It's creepy how much I loved it.
Though, I wasn't a huge fan of Miranda's journals. I don't care about her boyfriend... I mean, she's just going to die anyway, why do I care about her hopes for the future? Lol

I predicted the ending as soon as I had read the book halfway. But still, the way it is written... It all sounds so mundane but you know in your heart what he's doing is everything but mundane. I also like the way he always sounds indecisive and pitiful (somewhat innocent) to the reader but by the time one reaches the end of book 1, one gets a clear idea of what he is and what he's capable of.
Also, I loved the ending! A perfect and complete ending.

Men are so scary, it’s terrifying how he sees himself as a normal person and justifies everything he does.
I really hoped she’d get out alive.
I liked having both point of views, it gave her more character and an insight on how nice she was and her thought process.
I did enjoy the political aspects mentioned and found them very well written and relevant to the story!
Good but terrifying book, definitely not for everyone, I felt sick to my stomach at times.

it’s me he wants, my look, my outside; not my emotions or my mind or my soul or even my body. Not anything human.
