The take on the "fated mates" trope in this book is so so good. I've never really liked the trope and this was so different than anything I'd read before with it. This book exceeded every expectation I had. I really really loved this story, the characters, the world, the representation, the important conversations, the personal growth and character development. Really such a powerful story
