Fitch knows and loves Los Angeles intimately and it shows. There is such a dreamy, romantic quality to the style of writing and the characters I didn't want the book to end.
White Oleander really illustrates how much parents and parental figures imprint on their children.
It is an absolutely gorgeous novel, and one of my favorites of all time.

A good story

I liked Astrid, hated Ingrid. Wanted a different ending. Might need a sequelxx. Interesting to imagine the California locationsx. Might try the authors other worksxx
