My 1st Agatha Christie read. Very unpredictable plot. I loved that it was very carefully thought of. The only issue I had was that I struggled reading it in the beginning because of the amount of characters but that was just the onset. Looking forward to my next Agatha Christie books.

A masterful mystery, with one of the best twists in the genre imo. Poirot is such a great character because he’s not the typical cool, mysterious, swaggering male detective, he’s just a funny lil guy - who also happens to be a genius detective. The cast of characters is great in this book, and it’s so fun to try and pick apart their stories and motivations along with Poirot. The writing is thrilling and tense, and will keep you guessing right until the end. A classic for a reason.
