Omg this was PEAK. Reading this without any spoiler was a blessing. I think everyone should at least read or watch the movie. It's just soo good. The plot twist was epic. I did NOT see that coming.
I also love Hercule Poirot, he is just so fun. The way they did the questioning was also really good. U learned with the detective. It also made me kinda emotional. How everyone who cared a bout the little girl talked about her. What happened to her was just cruel and honestly the man deserved to die.
The killers being the number of the jury on a trial is also soo good and original. I LOVED the trial effect she gave. I'm really satisfied by the end, and how Poirot also knew that he deserved so he didn't followed the code and let the family go in peace. It's just beautiful and human. He isn't just a detective who solve every case in an instant, he also has feelings, he doesn't have any power. He is just an human. Idk maybe I'm just overthinking. I just like realistic characters.

I also totally understand why this book is one of the most popular of Agatha's. It's just such a masterpiece. I recommend to all to read this at least for once in their life.

It was ok. Enjoyed the movie much more

If someone put a gun to my head and made me choose the only book I could read for the rest of time, it would be Murder on the Orient Express.

I read it when I'm sad. I read it when I'm happy. I read it when I'm stressed with work. I read it on holiday. It's got me through a lot of difficult days. I've lost count of how often I've read it, and I'm on the edge of my seat every time I read it again.

When I am reading this book, I feel like I am on the train myself. The characters seem so real. The story is so immersive, it's so charming, it's so exciting, it's so compelling, and it's so funny. The forced conversation on the platform at the beginning? Hilarious. "I, too, have reflected with great earnestness"? Genius.

And it's not too long. It's perfect, not dragged out like some stories are. There is not a paragraph that is not needed.

I have some all-time favourites that I re-read a lot. With almost all of them, there are chapters or scenes that I skip on a re-read. But I have never wanted to skip a single line of Murder on the Orient Express.

Well written !!! You will keep on guessing the truth till the end... There were few elements that I did not like other than that ..overall it was a good read

I’m not sure how it came to be that I have not read Agatha Christie before. My mother had her paperbacks all about the house. I enjoyed this very much. It was a bit fanciful but I think that was the point. I liked the ending. I will definitely read more of these
