I still can't fully connect with this volume. I want to love it, but I don't. This issue really confused me. The action sequences were again one of highlights.

The end feels a little rushed, but otherwise, great. This is exactly the spy thriller I want. I wish every issue were 80 pages.

Ten Things I Loved About Black Widow #4

1. Beginning with a Red Room flashback! I love young Natasha so much.

2. Introduction to Iosef, Natasha's former mentor. I am interested in anyone who trained Natasha Romanova, the Black Widow.

3. The conversation Natasha and Iosef had about the past because the regret and pain there just breaks me.

4. A new Red Room called the Dark Room! Yes, tell me more! I must know more.

5. Iosef's slight jab at the Avengers made me laugh. I hope we see him again.

6. Some bad-ass Black Widow ass-kicking for your viewing pleasure beautifully rendered by Chris Samnee.

7. Plot twist! Plot twist! Plot twist! I'm not telling, but oh my god!

8. I'd love to see Natasha fight her. I can't believe she just let her walk out of there.

9. Oh, there's going to be trouble at the drop-off.

10. God, I love a good cliff-hanger when I have the next issue in my hands.
