Tallstar’s journey from a grief-stricken young apprentice to a confident and wise clan leader is fascinating. It’s incredible to see the complexities and structure of WindClan. Definitely a solid super edition, if a bit long.

The pacing is very, very slow and I would have liked to see more of Tallstar as a deputy.

Palebird and Sandgorse are the worst parents ever. Unsupportive, ignorant, neglectful, and often downright cruel. 0/10.

I love Tallstar with all my heart, he's my fav.

It is really good. The book caught my attention more after the visitors came and since that point i was hooked. Jake and Tallstar were the best part of the book.

------SPOILERS AHEAD------

This might be my favorite book so far! I don't know why...it just seems that her writing has improved so much since Into The Wild. I definitely loved the manga in the back because *SPOILER ALERT* Firestar is Jake's son! And that's awesome and came as such a surprise. It was a really great book. I really like the super editions because they give you a chance to look deeper into a cat or clan that you thought you hated. Even though I really liked Tallstar before this made me like him even more. I found that as an apprentice and kit he was really annoying about tunneling. It kinda disappointed me that he didn't want to follow his father's pawprints(see what I did there xD). But, I suppose I can relate to not wanting to be stuck underground all the time. Then, when *SPOILER ALERT* Sandgorse died....Tallstar fell apart and needed the satisfaction of killing Sparrow. Which was annoying. I didn't like how he went on a journey at first but then, I loved him meeting Jake; and developing that friendship (: It was really cute. It's sad that Reena and Tallstar aren't going to be mates because they were so shipable. I would have liked to know what his deputy life is like but oh well. Also, I thought him and Doespring would make an adorable couple. I loved Barkface and Tallstar's friendship and for the first two chapters I thought Barkface was a girl, which disappointed me when I found out he was a he. So yeah. I loved this book so so so much!

I did quite enjoy Tallstar's Revenge, and it wasn't quite what I was expecting, especially the personality and character development Tallstar undergoes throughout the book. However, I found the pacing wasn't great. I feel like the last chapter should've been called an Epilogue instead (but that's being pernickety) due to the large time jump, but I found that the exposition section was so long that the actual 'revenge' part of the book could've been a lot longer and had more development. However, I feel like this book is one of the best in terms of characterisation in Warriors. I've already mentioned Tallstar, but Jake, Reena, and some of WindClan had really definitive personalities in this book. Overall, a good read.

Świetna super edycja. Może i momentami była nudna, ale często też była ciekawa akcja. Dosyć smutna. Shipuję te dwie postacie z okładki.
