After taking on an apprentice at the request of Heiter, Frieren continues her journey with the company of Fern, her mage in training. Fern teaches Frieren about life both directly and indirectly as they travel together and likewise Fern learns more about Frieren and how distant a concept of time can be to her, aware of it but not comprehending if that makes sense. They stop to complete odd jobs along the way before more foreshadowing/setup is introduced to propel the story forward and give us an idea of where its heading. loving my time with this series so far.
