A slow book that felt like a stifling Australian summer afternoon. Nostalgia for childhood in the 90s. For me it moved a little too slowly though, and while I liked the little tie-up at the end, it took just a bit too long to get there.

I loved the relationships between all the characters in this one! Barneys story was so sad to me. But seeing the characters all move through their grief together was so moving.
