Sinner is everything you want and expect from a shantel book. Dark, gritty, spicy and intense. If you have triggers please be sure to read them before diving in.
My only qualm is that I could of done with more plot and less spice, which is something I don’t commonly say. But if you loved Ritual, you will not regret taking the plunge and reading The Sinner.
But let’s be clear, reading Ritual is not mandatory to enjoy this book. It definitely can be read as a stand-alone.

Should I be ashamed for rating this 4 stars? Probably. But you’d be lying if you said you didn’t want someone as obsessed and protective over you as Sin was with Elli 👀
