I didn’t feel the connection so deeply with the couple in this story as much as I did the previous one. Even tho they had a history of knowing each other practically their whole lives, what uniquely draws them to one another, I had a hard time really pinpointing.

I also wish we saw Sin more within the LORDS society. He seemed to have a much lower hierarchical responsibility with the society than Ryat and that took away a big layer from the story that book one had.
