This one didn’t catch my attention as much as the first one did immediately, but as soon as I had a day to sit down and read, I was immediately hooked. There were some plot twists closer to the end for Elli and her life that I would’ve never expected, and it was difficult to put the book down after that point. Recommend reading the trigger warnings for the book just in case, but excellent book nonetheless

This book is filled with so many dark scenes and content but it draws you in like a moth to light. Oh boy is Sin the anti-hero that will have you rooting for him and Elli the broken and used heroine that rises from the darkness. An enthralling and gripping story that will have you cringing and crying. A plethora of feelings will be had . I was so consumed by these characters and their story, I couldn’t put it down. Within the deep darkness of this story lies a love that holds no bounds.

Inaccurate/missing trigger warnings. No redeeming characters traits. MMC continues FMC abuse and calls it "love". FMC has zero backbone. Repeated use of R word, and calling "plot" in the end, enough was enough and couldn't continue reading what was happening to the FMC for another 20 chapters. She was everyone's punching bag including the MMC.

I liked the writing in this better than the ritual. The ritual's writing seemed pretty juvenile but it seems the writing has matured for this book. I dont agree with all the things that were done to Elli by Sin given her past but I do understand the Dom/Sub relationship. It was still spicy AF and im invested in the LORDS world because I wanna know Daddy Tyson's story so I will keep going. Still not the most earth shattering writing though.

Man that was a wild ride ♠️❤️⛓️ Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next, there was a twist I wasn’t expecting. Loved Sinner. It was a heavy book though, check your triggers.
