Let's solve a mystery with a clergyman and gossiping old ladies! Miss Marple is the old lady I want to become one day. Her hobbies include gardening, gossiping, knitting, and solving crime. This was a solid mystery, I don't think it stands out as much as some of Christie's others but I did enjoy it.

agatha christie is an amazing mystery writer but i don’t think this is her best. i think there were too many characters and she kind of lost the thread of some of their storylines in the middle. i was also thrown off in the beginning because i expected ms marple to be the narrator, but i ended up really enjoying the vicar’s point of view. it gave the whole thing a sherlock holmes/ john watson dynamic.
