The usual wit and dry humour I expect from Christie. I was surprised how little Marple features in this, though she is of course essential still. I was left guessing until the end, and am happy to say I was completely wrong. Very funny, and a great start to the Marple books.

I wanted to read a Miss Marple book because I heard such good things. This book seemed to focus more on the vicar, with Miss Marple showing up every now and then. This is the book that introduces her so I will read another one to see if it's any different.

Me sorprendí de mi mismo por haber logrado recordar a cada uno de los personajes, lo cual me ayudó a poder seguirle el hilo a la historia sin regresar o confundirme.
Es una buena historia, una resolución un poco apresurada pero que aclara totalmente todas las dudas. Me encanta la precisión con la que se unen todos los datos sin dejar agujeros en la trama y eso, debe ser de agradecer.

It has been years since I've read any Agatha Christie, and I've forgotten how delightful she is. This book is funny and sly and witty--plus there are some very fun characters. There's a reason why she's a master of the genre, and for some reason, I had her in my head as pure fluff. Not so. Will have to be checking out some more of her work soon, especially more with Miss Marple.
