Man, what a series. And WHAT a scene...I don't know what to say about that I'm speechless haha. Well on to the next one in the series. What can I say I'm a sucker for Cat and Bones. ;)

These books are like popcorn. Not the most substantive (to its credit, also not the least!) but could finish them all by the end of the month.

I think the first may have been better, but this book doesn't fall too far behind. It suffers only slightly from too much recap of the previous book (which was especially redundant for my reading experience, having read the first book a few days before), the dimming of it's new world shine, and new characters I didn't care about.

Side note: sometimes the sex scenes are just weird. Like Im not so into the trope of vampire bites being hella pleasurable. Maybe it's just because im not a fan of hickeys, idk.
