To the end
I seriously loved this series. I couldn’t put it down until I was finished with it. Lips was so protective and loyal. I loved watching her slowly lean on her family even if she still left them out when it came time to protect them.
I’m pretty excited to read the butchers story (I’m assuming it’s a prequel about hime and odie..) I would also love to read a story about Avery and find out who she ends up with. So if that ever happens I will be super excited.

The HEA we’ve been waiting for! The relationship with Lips and her men is just as spicy, and they really show what being a family means. There’s definitely some loose ends not quite tied up, but overall, I was really happy with how everyone’s story turned out.
This book. Wow. I highly recommend this series as I think it became my new favorite...ever. Lips continues her path of keeping her family safe at all cost. We see the good the bad and the ugly. This is what family means. Maybe they’re not related by blood but that makes them stronger and tougher. They chose each other.
Lips’ journey starts as she enters in her last year of Hannaford Prep and she knows already it’s going to be tumultuous. With the jackal at her feet senior out for blood the O’Cronins wanting something for their loss and the unsureness of them 12 makes for an epic book. We see Avery evolve more show more emotions and a side we haven’t seen yet. Harley continues to push what a boyfriend materjal should be always being so caring and thoughtful. Blaise is doing his best in a world he is so not familiar with. And lastly, ash. He finally gets an idea of what he wants for his life and pursues it whatever it is to keep his family safe. Illi is amazing and we get a few new characters who only add to this epic showdown.

Oh
Well. Dang. Alright then. What an adventure I’ve been on with this crew. Lots and lots of bloodshed. Family lost and found, both blood and choice. Love everywhere.
It’s been a rollercoaster, but so very worth it.

Un po' troppo tirato per le lunghe per i miei gusti. Comunque un gran bel finale. Voglio assolutamente leggere l'altra serie.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
OMG. I love this series so much. I haven’t found an author that has captured my attention so much since 2014. I can’t wait to read everything that will come out in the future.

What an ending! I loved this series and cannot wait to continue with the rest of the books set in this world! It's so satisfying to see the main story threads wrap up neatly (for the most part - again there are spin offs!) It was a non-stop ride with many of those threads being open until the very end.
You really feel like you've become a part of the family yourself by reading this book! The crew has all grown through the series and have embraced their darkness and pasts while striving for a brighter future.
The FMC
Lips is one of my favourite leading ladies that I've read in a long time. The growth she goes through in the series is outstanding. I love how she builds a life with her guys and Avery. Plus now her extended family both blood and chosen. She and Avery are going to take over the world and I cannot wait to read Avery's story!
The Guys
I love the guys so much. They are all in with Lips and the family and nothing case stop them when they come together. There's something quite nice about all of them being able to be whoever they are and still be accepted. Plus they all bring something to Lips.
The Smut
Yes please, Lips had gotten past her shy past and comes alive with all of the guys in this book! It's so satisfying to see the solo and group scenes with the guys. They are hot as hell and also build on the relationships!

I always struggle a bit with finals to a series and while I’m not entirely surprised I’m still a bit sad it was the case here as well. I feel like often with series the final book is focused on tying up all lose ends, complete the plot and not necessarily focused on the characters. they feel less real to me and just used to tell a story (which obv is kind of the case, but the beauty of writing is to be able to go all up in a story and bring characters to life so the reader can take a break from real life for a while). I still couldn’t put the book down while reading, so it’s by no means bad, it’s just not what I hoped for since the building, especially in the second book, was so great. I’m thrilling for more of lips so I’m going to read ‘make my move’ now to get a bit more feeling on the guys their feelings and thoughts because that’s what I missed in this one.
on top of that, I was disappointed when lips wasn’t the one to kill mateo, I know there is something to be said for it, but lips is this strong woman who has survived a lot and it would have been such a milestone for her to get to kill him. I love the protectiveness of the boys and the whole family you’re not on your own thing. but she still is her own person and the further into the series she became less ‘the wolf’ to me, while maybe it should have been the other way around. but idk rn I’m just rambling jsks.
also I feel like the attention wasn’t really divided equally to the three guys, blaise is just there, sometimes we get to see a bit more of him but it ends quickly with no serious depth to it, just a small tip of the ice berg. and I feel like that’s pretty important in a reverse harem…
lastly there was a lot of repetition in this that took away from the story, things that happened didn’t feel original anymore (apart from the main plot points ofc) and they didn’t feel solved either. there was this unsatisfied hurried feeling. I wanted more female empowering and less of the guys being dicks tbh.
now it sounds all bad and it really wasn’t, I love J Bree her work and can honestly say that I’m obsessed with multiple of her books. (I read the bonds that tie series four times in the last year…). I have seen people either love or hate these books, so I’m not sure who to recommend it to. but it’s definitely something and worth to give it a shot because who knows you’ll put all nighters like me and fall for another character that you can make a bit your own in a way.
