More of a 3.5 stars. I'm just a little surprised at how short it was. I was expecting a little more from the last book. But the way the plot went was interesting, but kinda random at points.
Dang. Talk about sacrifice.
I wasn't expecting to get so attached to this series.
I really hope there are more books after this. D: NEED MORE.

I had been so looking forward to this book and am kind of disappointed. All the other books in this series I absolutely adored and 5 starred them but this one was only likeable because of the previous books. It seemed kind of forced to me and I'm really sad because I had been really looking forward to Michaels POV but meh

Something bad happened to one my faves and i'll never be over it! Also it definitely didn't feel like the end so i'm hoping the sixth book, that is on hold, will actually happen!

Don't me why I haven't read this sooner, because I have no answer. I loved this book nearly as much as I expected. And all this time between the release of Secret and the the day I picked this book was just too much without Merricks in my life. I love all of them. I loved getting to know Tyler better and Hannah and her family.
I really wish we had more family moments. We saw so little of the brothersapart from Michael of course. For a final book I feel like it wasn't enough. We barely saw the girlfriends and some other characters that could've been important. This didn't feel like a conclusion. I hope that means Brigid is planning on picking the Merricks back up and write more of their story.

If the book had not ended up by killing my favourite character... I would have given the full 5 stars
But right now I am just wishing that this wasn't an ebook and I could chuck it with all the force possible !

When I finish a serie that I like very much, I always have mixed feelings about it: I want to know the end but I don't what to end the book... In this case I think the dead of Humter made it worse! I know the title of the book talk about sacrifice and save all the people in the county is what heroes do but I hate that he lost his father, then Kate and now his life!!!!
I confess that I cried like a baby when Michael lost the custody of his brothers T.T His anguish was so touching his sense of lost and failure. I love Hannah was with him I that moment to confort him (I know that I talk about characters like they were real but I can't help it)
So, I was a good final but I wish Hunter survive and that we know something more about Irish (I don't like Hannah liking him, but he seems a sexy and nice man).

The Elementals series has fast become one of my favourites. From the moment I started reading the second one I have just devoured the entire series, and now here I am writing my review for the final book in the series and feeling very bittersweet. I loved every single second of this series but I was definitely not ready to say goodbye to these amazing characters and this incredible story.
Right from reading the first novella in this series, Elemental, I couldn't wait to read Michael's full length novel. I fell in love with Michael right at the start of the series and this book just cemented that love all the more. All Michael has ever wanted was his family safe and his love for his brothers shines through this book so much. This book is much more about the family bonds than the romance like the other books and it made me love it so much more.
Sacrifice is without a doubt one of the most heart-tugging of the books. Things happen that really broke me and I just couldn't put the book down. I just needed to see if it was all going to be okay. Brigid really does bring all the emotion for this finale of the Elementals series.
I loved every second of this series and although this one made me sob like a baby it was phenomenal. It was the perfect ending to the series and although I wish she would write more, even just a novella to see what they're all up to, I absolutely loved the ending. It was perfect and it was optomistic and hopeful for the future of Elementals.
If you haven't started this series then what the heck are you waiting for? It's a definite must read. I am so glad I finally read this series. I first started reading the Elemental series in 2012. I put off reading this, the final book, until now because honestly? The title scared the crap out of me. This book gave me so much anxiety! My heart is still racing! While, I’m sad that this series is over and I’ll miss the Merrick brothers terribly, it was a great ending to a great series. There’s just one thing I would have liked to have gone differently.
