This was a recommendation on BookTube and I thought I would give it a try. I have been trying to find some good mangas to read and recommend to others. This book is definately not what I expected. I thought it would be a cute story, but it turned into something dark. I actually enjoyed the unexpectedness of the book. I want to know what happens so I will pick up the rest of the series.

Wow. I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I also totally didn’t see the plot twist coming!! Very creepy, very dark, and very absorbing. I need book 2 STAT, because I want to find out what happens next!
Also — I loved how alive and real the characters feel in this volume. The combination of dialogue and artwork is perfect!!

It has been so long since I found another story that that eerie atmosphere. I really loves stories where there is a sudden reveal that everything is a lie. They thought they were at an orphanage. Turns out its a farm for monsters!
I really like how quick and how precise the introduction was. It's only chapter 1 but something already happens and the whole plot moves at a great pace.
The art was not really my jam at first but I appreciate it so much now. I love how the creepy imagery is portrayed in such a creative way as the story goes on.

I won't spoil it, but it's very creepy and good, and Emma is a good heroine to root for.

This is super cute, definitely targetting a younger audience, but I found it charming and interesting. Will definitely continue on with the series
