This is very good, as I expect from the authors.
The Southwest continues to show that it is full of mystery, this time a bit more recent than the previous books of Corrie and Nora.
There's speculation on Roswell and Los Alamos, and there's a section where just as you think "oh no" the plot throttles up even more than you expect it to.
There's a thing in thrillers where the bad guys get a deserved punishment and that's very true here, the punishment for the dude that's the most at fault for being an evil dude is pretty righteous.
Very fun, and a nice way to throw some positive things to Nora who has had a really heinous fictional life.

The first two books of this trilogy were *so* much better. I mean, really - Roswell/Area 51? Sigh...

3.5
Big Preston and Child fan...these are great escape books and I love the female driven books.

Not my favorite ending, but the rest was just what I expected

enjoyable, roller coaster ride

A thoroughly enjoyable read! The authors weave facts and popular conspiracy theories into a narrative that makes you think. I can’t wait for the next edition of this series.

This was a cheesy "lets explain aliens" plot, was more boring than the other two books in the series, and the quality I praised for Old Bones (Book 1 in the series) about the authors getting back some of their groove of their earlier works has already slide back into shark-jumping, trope bingo territory.

But will I keep reading the series? Of course, these are still excellent fluffy filler thriller reads.
