Tbh, i really wanted to like thia book. Haunting was wonderful (for my little inner psycho). But this just was relentless. Every time i put it down for the night i just felt gross for what i read. I dont feel like the aftermath was at all redeeming for the fmc, or healing. It was just trauma, met by more abuse and trauma, perpetuating abuse and trauma. Too much.
