I’ve been wondering WTF Xanders problem with Kim was for like 3 books now. I’m shocked at the why.

Kim’s story and battle with her demons was well thought out and executed.

I thought they would be my favorite couple because I liked their dynamic as parents in God of Wrath but they aren’t my fave. They sit at 3rd place but I still have 2 more couples to go so we’ll see!

I really loved getting to read Xan and Kim’s story. It was heart-breaking to see them go through what they did, but amazing to watch them grow, together and as individuals. They each had their own battles that they had to face and overcome, which they did with so much strength. I was so emotional reading this book and found I could relate to so much stuff, please check trigger warnings, as there are some tough topics discussed. Mental health is represented massively in this book and was handle with such care. Another amazing read from Rina Kent, can't recommend her work enough.
