I've had this on my to read pile for a very long time, and I thought I could get away with a quick read to whittle down my to-read list.

I managed about 37% but ultimately there was nothing really keeping me in the story and I found myself wanting to do other stuff. None of the characters necessarily stood out by that point, aside from the fact that Nick seemed a bit cuckoo and there wasn't much explanation to the origins of the two brothers. Just the occasional info-dump that didn't really feel right. So, in any case, I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead. Good luck to anyone else braving it.

Hmm... I will say it was cool reading about a woman who wasn't stick thin.

Everything else was kinda meh. The romance was instant and the conflict seemed paper thin with an ending I didn't really like.
I didn't like the dominant thing here. Usually, I'm cool with it and ride with the wolves but this one... it bordered on Tao being a sexual dominant and not caring about if Audrey would go along with that type of play.

Loved how the book started and I was ready for a guilty pleasure read but, this was just not what I was looking for.

For those who love steamy reads though, check this out. There are quite a few sex scenes.

A decent book but, *shrugs* it just wasn't my type of book.

Michelle Fox is quickly becoming one of my top fave romance paranormal authors. Her books are always such fun to read! The perfect blend of action, suspense, sex, romance and humor.
Tao and Audrey meet under near impossible circumstances. He has been trapped in his wolf firm and her job is to put him down. That is until she gets one look at him in his animal form and makes the uncharacteristic decision to take him home with her. Good thing she does because one the sun rises he is in all his glory as a man! And what a man! Tao is a sensitive strong alpha male who is all boss in the bedroom while making sure his mate knows he loves every delectable inch of her!
I loved that Ms. Fox chose to write about a curvy girl heroine, it makes her more relatable!
I have to give this five stars it was just so much fun I can't wait to read more of her works!

I really liked this book. Tao is just a wolf to die for, the way he was described in this book whew! Audrey is a park ranger and she loves all animals so when the local kook traps a large wolf she is curious as to the species. Tao is curious about her as well, he can smell the wolf inside her (she was bitten) turns out his brother Nick is the one that bit her and he is hell bent on making his own pack. Can't say too much without spoiling it lets just say I can't wait to read the next one.
