honestly i’m kind of obsessed with this little book series. it’s a fun mix of complex social-political plotline and lighthearted queer paranormal romance which is frankly just up my alley. i think this one dives a little more into the relationships than the first one did, probably bc this character isn’t lowkey allergic to affection. overall fun read, good trans rep as always, and surprisingly good autism rep too.

I did enjoy this but the lack of communication in this one drove me a bit crazy. I kept yelling at the characters to just listen to their hearts and talk it out!
