The cover is beaut but that’s where the positives end. 

Why was that random period scene there? Why was she showering naked and being watched? 

I was skipping pages by the time the spider was introduced coz there were things that were just unnecessarily gross and seedy. The prose is over embellished and this book doesn’t know what it wants to be. 

Trigger warnings: all. 

If you’re looking for a good, suffocating horror read Tear by Erica McKeen instead.
