Like many of the reviews here say I don’t think I fully grasped all the themes and meaning behind this wild ride of a story. But that doesn’t matter to me. The writing was so vivid, horrific and dark. And the emotions of grief and familial trauma came through. Reminded me of Octavia Butler’s Bloodchild. This is my first LaRocca story and I will definitely be checking out more. He has a fascinating, dark mind to create such a story

Wow! Eric Larocca does it again! What a unique and gripping story. Did not know where this one was going but loved the ride and what an ending! Have a feeling this one is gonna stick with me for a while.
