Overall, I liked this book but the plot doesn’t really come to fruition until about the last 1/3. The first portion of the book largely consists of a constant stream of character introductions, which made it hard to pick back up and want to continue reading.

OMG. Gorgeous. Incredible prose. Stick with it, the pace is slow, but you will be blown away from some of the gems here. The ending left me gobsmacked.
