Very repetitive, and the timeline of the novel’s climax is conveyed in an odd way that makes me think there might be an accidental plot hole. I think the author sometimes forgot what he wrote, for example - Big Soap having the story of what happened to Chona relayed to him by Fatty not once, but twice in separate chapters. An editor should have caught this.
