This ending was so perfect, Neal Shusterman could not have done better than that. 😭

Absolutely loved Greyson, Citra, Rowan, Michael Faraday, and all the rest of the crew.
Every character was so fleshed out from the beginning, they just feel like real friends at this point.
I was rooting for Rowan and Citra to FINALLY be together after everything they've been through.. some chapters were tough to read.

The setting, the plot, the explanations, the motives, the ending... I have nothing bad to say about this book, it was just a perfect achievement.
Every single character we've been following got their closure, and they are all *chef's kiss*

This series just got better with each book and I'm not ready for it to be over. ):

I'm not ready for the Arc of a Scythe to end. :(

This has honestly become one of my favorite series. It's witty, entertaining, and I never lose interest. The Toll did not disappoint and I felt like everything came full circle with how it ended. I think the villains got what they deserved, Citra and Rowan's ending made me tear up, as did Faraday's, and I think all of Grayson's work for the Thunderhead started to pay off. I loved the inclusion of Jericho and thought they were a great character addition. I would really like to see an Epilogue say oh 117 years in the future. The only 'downside' for me is the bouncing around in different timelines in the middle of the story. I didn't realize the story was following two different years in some chapters and it made it a little confusing.

4.5 stars! I don't even know why I'm not giving it 5... maybe just because the trilogy made me look at the real dark side of power hungry and corrupt humanity, as well as the apathetic humanity who live their day to day life without much thought of anything else.

Don't get me wrong, the end is not a downer, not at all. It's well worth the read! I don't know how else to put it without spoilers!

I think I'll definitely want to revisit this trilogy in a few years.
