The story was great! But the book was confusing. I couldn't really tell when something was a flashback or actually happening at that moment. Some of the things that happened seemed quite a bit inconceivable, but then again this was sci-fi fantasy. So strange things that would otherwise seem impossible can happen.

Really solid writing and art direction across the board here.

I liked it, Certainly a different take on the characters of the Aliens universe. In the movies we never really hear what goes on with Earth, and this tackles that. It was confusing at the start because you meet two characters that come off as Corporal Hicks and Newt with different names but similar storyline. They hint at Ripley's involvement and mention the names of some of the other soldiers (Apone, Drake, Frost and Vasquez) But then later Ripley comes into it talking about Newt and Hicks so it was another story. It was a bit confusing.

I absolutely hated the shifts in the art between stories. There were three books in one. The first two were great. The last one "Female War" was awful.

This wasn't bad, it just wasn't amazing. I love all things Alien/Xenomorph, but I don't think anything will ever come close to comparing to Alien and Aliens. (Except Alien Isolation, which was better than Alien 3, Resurrection, Prometheus, and Covenant, IMHO.) I've gotta stop going into these comics thinking I'll come out liking them
