We love a slice of life. That's what's great about this - it's a total break from the intense plot of the rest of the series so far.

Misses 4 stars for me because the book, while a good & easy read, missed a depth that would have pushed it over the top. Really liked it though!

This is my second favorite book of the ACOTAR series, for the fact that it's so optimistic, festive, and generally war/violence-free. Cassian remains my fav, the found family vibes are strong as ever throughout the book, and I enjoyed seeing different people's perspectives!! My 2 questions that  I had throughout the book were
1) Why were everyone's else perspectives (besides Feyre and Rhys's who were in first person) in third person? 2) Ressina seemed to be creating a space for artists to tell their story, and I didn't quite get why Feyre's request to build a studio solely for that same reason seemed so unique??
Otherwise, this book was so festive and spirited, and a nice reprieve from what the storyline is typically about.

I really did like this book, there’s not much of a plot, but it’s just a short story about how everyone is doing after the war & the events in the first 3 books. I liked being able to see how everyone is doing after their HEA, but you could still see how much they were all struggling with the war & everything that happened.
I would still recommend it even though it doesn’t necessarily add much to the the series as a whole; it was a fun little read.

On the fence. Not sure I recommend it. I like the humour.

Some of it feels silly and inadequate (“solid diamonds” as if diamonds aren’t already always solid !). And some of it reflects sjm unable to demonstrate nuance of diplomatic negotiations (R talking with T)
