This is just the book the series needed after A Court of Wings and Ruin. Through this holiday experience we are able to relax and find comfort in the characters healing process. That is not to say raw emotions aren't shown.

Nesta especially is struggling with her mental health.

I loved the juxtaposition this book showed. No fighting, not much political scheming, just people who love each other trying to piece together their fallen world.

Also bonus points for the multiple perspectives, including everyone!

This book is a peaceful continue of what happens after the third book. This book gives all the characters point of views and continues their story. I’m excited what the fifth book has in as i feel this one just builds for it. Nothing really too crazy or special happens but still love to hear their stories continue. Excited for what’s to come and nice transition novel!
