This book was good. Well written, loved seeing Grae’s story but very similar to book one. Both stories - attackers were a close friend, second chance romance with your childhood best friend, both ended up surprisingly pregnant right around being engaged.

Man I really think if Catherine cowles writes it... I'll read it. I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Brothers best friend isn't really my jam, but this had a touch of enemies to lovers, and so I just vibed with it more. I loved how complex grae and caden are and how they bring out the best in each other as a couple! Loved this!

Cowles definitely had a formula

“But now you’re fake-dating the guy you were in love with for year…”

📚 friends to enemies to lovers
📚 small town
📚 billionaire romance
📚 fake relationship
📚 dual POV

|Thoughts|
If you’ve read the previous books in the Lost & Found series then you’ll know what to expect from this one.

“Things are replaceable. You aren’t”

Grae is not safe and although it was fairly predictable, I love a good fake dating romance and this led to some great little moments.

“Love, hate, two sides of the same coin, right?”

“My family and friends know your the bane of my existence”

Enjoyed the the FMC lives with type 1 diabetes and how this plays into the dynamics with her family.

“But if we’re going to do this, you’re going to have to get used to Isla and Dex.”
“Isla and Dex?” Grade grinned and patted her insulin pump.

Never really understood Caren’s family. All seemed a bit odd and the conclusion still left me with a lot of answer.

“Well, I’ll be damned. Camden Shaw has a weakness, after all. Good to know”

This was a fast paced yet formulaic read (if you’ve read the previous books). But still enough to get me to continue the series.
